Are you ready to play a pivotal role in tackling digital inequality and shaping the future of Greater Manchester as a truly inclusive digital city-region? As GMCA’s Digital Equity Senior Principal, you will join a passionate, multidisciplinary team working together to realise the ambitious vision set out in the GM Digital Blueprint and in support of the Greater Manchester Strategy. Our collective mission is to ensure that everyone can benefit from the opportunities a digital society offersby improving digital skills, access, and confidence, and by driving system-wide change for lasting impact.
About the Role
In this influential position, you will lead on developing and championing digital inclusion initiatives, working closely with local authorities, government partners, and the private sector to drive progress at scale. Your responsibilities will include building strategic partnerships, securing and managing substantial funding, and helping increase the regional and national profile of Greater Manchester’s digital inclusion work. You will play a key part in fostering innovation and ensuring our programmes deliver tangible improvements in equity and connectivity across the city-region.
Qualifications and Experience
You will bring a proven ability to lead large-scale digital inclusion or related public sector programmes, with experience collaborating across diverse stakeholders and managing significant budgets. Your track record will demonstrate your skills in driving innovation and system change focused on equity, inclusion, and partnership working. Experience in securing external funding and delivering results in complex, fast-evolving environments is essential.
