Stores Assistant Corby NN17 5DP £12.60ph Monday - Thursday 7.30am to 4.30pm Friday 7.00am - 2.00pm Immediate start, Free Parking,
Due to the continued success of our client who are a market leading company in their field, based in Corby Northamptonshire, have an exciting opportunity for a Stores Assistant, where you will be working with a small experienced team.
Role
- Maintain stock levels and replenish as and when required
- Load and unload stock when necessary
- Pack and despatch customer orders when required
- Operate various hand tools (once trained)
- Operate the forklift when required - Counterbalance
- Always adhere to all health and safety practices
- Maintain a clean and tidy work environment
- Complete and return works orders/despatch paperwork to Despatch Manager
- Perform other duties as assigned by Despatch Manager
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a store | warehouse environment
- Comfortable handling materials and working with lifting
- Able to follow instructions and work to specification sheets
- Hold a counterbalance forklift license
- Team player with a proactive attitude and willingness to learn
We would expect the successful Stores Assistant to demonstrate proficiency within a warehouse production environment. You will be joining the company site in Corby Northants, who are experts in their field of manufacturing. They boast fantastic longevity with their current workforce.
