Your new role
Potential for a Temp to Perm for the right Candidate!
As a Caretaker, you will play a vital role in ensuring the school premises are clean, secure, and well-maintained. Your responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out general maintenance and minor repairs
- Ensuring health and safety standards are met across the site
- Opening and closing the school buildings
- Supporting with deliveries and furniture movement
- Maintaining outdoor areas and assisting with site security
You'll work closely with school staff to ensure the environment remains safe and welcoming for all.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- Experience in a caretaking, maintenance, or facilities role (desirable)
- Basic DIY and repair skills
- A good understanding of health and safety procedures
- Reliability, initiative, and a proactive approach
- Enhanced DBS clearance (or willingness to obtain)
