Staffline is recruiting Warehouse Operatives in Manchester.
The rate of pay is £27,127 per annum.
This is a full-time role working fixed shifts and the hours of work are:
- 8:30am to 5pm
Your Time at Work
As a Warehouse Operative you will place goods into storage, picking stock and consolidating orders, and assist in the loading of vehicles. The job to be performed in a manner that enables the company to provide the best possible service to its customers and maximise environmental, health and safety performance.
Key responsibilities include:
- Discharging duties in a safe manner in accordance with relevant legislation and Bunzl EHS policies.
- Using all equipment provided in accordance with safe working practices.
- Ensuring the warehouse and yard are kept clean and tidy at all times, that spillages are promptly cleared and waste is minimised.
- Receiving goods and checking into the warehouse accurately.
- Placing goods correctly into storage bays. Ensure that stock is stored to allow safe storage, lifting and lowering
- Assisting in loading vehicles, working with the driver to ensure compliance with all legal requirements on vehicle loading.
Our Perfect Worker
Our perfect worker will be an enthusiastic, highly driven individual with the ability and willingness to follow instructions of management and respond to requests from others in the team in a helpful manner. You will have the ability to transport goods around a warehouse.
Previous warehousing experience is desirable and a Forklift License would be ideal but not essential.
