We are seeking a dynamic and committed Interventions Year 6 Teacher to join a friendly primary school on a long-term temporary contract until the end of December 2025, working between 0800 - 1300.
This is an excellent opportunity to guide pupils through their final year of primary education and prepare them for a successful transition to secondary school. Duties as Year 6 Teacher:
Plan and deliver engaging lessons that cover the full Key Stage 2 curriculum, with a focus on preparing pupils for SATs and secondary school.
Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all abilities and ensure every child makes strong progress.
Assess, track and report on pupil attainment and well-being.
Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages confidence, independence and a love of learning.
Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents and carers to support each child’s development.
Ideal Year 6 Teacher:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Strong understanding of the Year 6 curriculum
Excellent classroom management and organisational skills as a Year 6 Teacher.
Ability to inspire, motivate and engage pupils.
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
