Crynodeb
In addition to specialist interests, all consultants will be involved in providing a general clinical service to the Trust: Out-of-hours responsibilities, including participation in the Radiology consultant on-call rota. Active participation in undergraduate and postgraduate education, including training sessions for Foundation Years, Specialty Registrars, and medical students. Provision of cover for your consultant colleagues during reasonable periods of leave including care of patients and supervision of doctors in training. Responsible for the professional supervision, training, and management of junior medical staff, carrying out teaching, examination and accreditation duties as required and contributing to postgraduate and CPD activity locally and nationally as appropriate.
