Crynodeb
You will use your skills and knowledge to train, monitor, and supervise the Specialist Learning Support Assistants assigned to you You will delegate the medical interventions required to meet the needs of the children and young people on your caseload to non clinical staff You will work collaboratively with colleagues in education, health and social care, attending meetings, where necessary, to support the clinical needs of the child or young person You will demonstrate your passion by championing the voices and experiences of children, young people, and their families to guide service development and planning as part of the senior team You will work across various schools to support the team and maintain relationships with the school staff, with time each week to work from home or in the office. You will line manage a small team of SpLSAs across various school settings and be responsible for their professional development You will regularly assess the skills and competencies of the team in a variety of medical interventions in line with the service guidelines and assessment frameworks You will undertake relevant CYP school health care plans and risk assessments for CYP and staff in a variety of settings You will ensure staff adhere to all policies and procedures relevant to the service
