Full time Nanny needed in Hook, RG27

This family are looking for a fixed term, one year maternity cover nanny for their two boys aged 7 and 9 years. The role is Monday to Friday; term time hours of 2pm to 7pm and school holiday hours of 8am to 7pm. This is a sole charge position; the boys Nanna will be around on a few evenings a week when the role will become more of a relaxed shared care role, where the nanny and the boys Nanna can work together to focus on the boys needs and give them more one on one time.

Duties to include children’s admin such as sorting unforms, children’s laundry, school pickups, assisting with homework, serving dinner (their Nanna helps with batch cooking) and starting bed time routine. In the school holidays getting out and about with trips to Wellington country park, Alice Holt, science museums, Frensham ponds etc and arranging play dates. The boys enjoy Lego, gaming and the youngest also likes crafts. As well as playing in the large garden on their trampoline and climbing frame.

The family are looking for someone energetic, kind, compassionate and patient; who can be flexible and isn’t too rigid in their approach/routine. Someone with experience of ASD and ADHD would be beneficial however, not essential. A confident driver is a must, due to a longer school commute.

Pay: Up to £19 gross per hour. Approx. up to £34960 gross per annum.
Benefits: Additional annual leave 30 days, plus bank holidays – to be taken in school holidays, although some flexibility on this
