Job Title: Driver
Position: permanent
Salary: £26364 per annum
Location: Staverton
Hours of work: 39 hours per week Monday to Friday
We are now seeking to recruit a driver to operate company 3.5 ton vehicle and a transit van to provide delivery and collection of goods, to and from Customers and Suppliers.
Primary Job Functions
• Driving of Company Vehicles
• Loading and unloading of goods onto and off Company vehicles ensuring all loads are safely and securely loaded – securing with appropriate straps etc.
• Ensuring all documentation is delivered correctly with goods and signed proof of deliveries are obtained and all associated documentation is returned to Goods In / Despatch department
• Carrying out daily vehicle safety checks as per the schedule and ensuring any defects are promptly reported
• Ensuring full compliance with all UK Government Road traffic legislation whilst driving company vehicles
• Reporting any relevant information back to company that is obtained from Customers or suppliers in relation to delivery or collection of goods.
Back up Functions
• Carry out duties within the Goods In/Despatch Stores department to support as and when required
• To carry out any other tasks as required within the business that are reasonably within your capabilities and skills.
Personal Requirements
• Must Hold a valid UK Full clean driving License
• Must be flexible and willing to work additional hours as and when required
• Must be able to obtain NSVS/BPSS UK Security clearance
