We are trusted by major clients for our expertise in on-site aluminium welding, fabrication, and installation. With continued growth, we are seeking motivated Site Operatives with a focus on welding to join our skilled team.
Job Description
As a Site Operative (Welding), you will support site-based welding and installation projects nationwide. You will work on a variety of tasks from fabrication and cutting, through to sealing, fixing, and on-site assembly. This role requires a high level of safety awareness, attention to detail, and the flexibility to travel and stay away during the week.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Carry out welding tasks (primarily aluminium) to meet project specifications.
Assist with cutting, drilling, fixing, sealing, and general installation.
Operate welding equipment, hand tools, and power tools safely and effectively.
Work to high standards of quality, accuracy, and efficiency.
Follow all site health and safety rules and attend site inductions.
Contribute to a safe and professional working environment.
Essential Requirements
Valid UK Driving Licence.
CSCS Card.
Flexibility to travel nationwide and stay away during the week.
Willingness to work in a team and adapt to varied site conditions.
Desirable (training can be provided)
Previous welding or site experience.
IPAF qualification.
NVQ Level 2
Working at Height and Abrasive Wheels training.
