We are looking for a caring and enthusiastic Nursery Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant Early Years team on a long-term temporary basis, starting as soon as possible.
The preschool places a strong emphasis on the prime areas of learning, laying the essential foundations for children's future development. This approach ensures that every child receives a well-rounded education, equipping them for life in modern Britain.
Duties as Nursery Teaching Assistant:
Support the class teacher in delivering a stimulating and nurturing learning environment.
Assist with daily routines, including play-based activities, outdoor learning and personal care.
Work with small groups and individual children to promote early literacy, numeracy and social skills.
Help to maintain a safe, clean and welcoming classroom.
Ideal Nursery Teaching Assistant:
A relevant Level 2 or Level 3 childcare/early years qualification (or equivalent) is preferred.
Previous experience working with children aged 0–5 in a nursery or early years setting.
A positive, flexible attitude and excellent communication skills are required as a Nursery Teaching Assistant.
Up-to-date Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one).
