Job Summary
We are seeking a Pressure Testing Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely and accurately carrying out pressure tests on hoses, and related assemblies to ensure they meet our safety, quality and compliance standards.
Responsibilities
Prepare and set up testing equipment for hoses and hose assemblies
Inspect hoses before testing to ensure they meet specifications and are free of defects
Conduct testing at specified pressures, durations and conditions
Accurately record and maintain test data, certificates and reports
Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements
Identify, report, and assist in the investigation of non-conformances or equipment issues
Maintain and calibrate testing equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability
Collaborate with others to meet customer delivery schedules.
Desired Requirements
Previous experience in pressure testing, hose testing, or a related mechanical/technical role
Manufacturing/engineering background
Familiar with engineering hand tools
Basic understanding of measuring equipment
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, test specifications, and procedures
Essential Requirements
Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and safety awareness
Basic computer literacy for recording test data and producing certificates
Safety-focused and disciplined.
Methodical with a high degree of accuracy.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
