Lead Theatre Practitioner - Endoscopy The Beardwood Hospital 37.5 Hours & Permanent Competitive Salary(depending on level of experience, training and qualification) The Beardwood HospitalIs part of Circle Health Group, Britain's leading provider of independent healthcare with a nationwide network of hospitals & clinics, performing more complex surgery than any other private healthcare provider in the country. We have an opportunity for a Lead Theatre Practitionerto join their team of staff in thetheatredepartment. This is a full time role for 37.5 hours a week. The role holder will be required tocover a flexible shift pattern. Duties of this role include: Lead the delivery of high-quality, patient-centred care across the perioperative pathway, acting as a specialist or functional lead within the team. Ensure that all patient safety checks, including WHO surgical safety processes, are carried out in accordance with hospital policy. Provide day-to-day leadership and supervision for theatre practitioners and support staff, fostering a culture of professionalism, compassion, and accountability. Support the development and assessment of competencies within the team, promoting continuous professional development. Act as an advocate for patients, ensuring their rights, safety, and dignity are upheld at all times. Raise concerns where standards of care or safeguarding protocols are not met, in line with Circle Health Group policy.
