Your new role
We are currently seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Level 2 Teaching Assistants to join primary and secondary schools across St Helens and Newton-le-Willows.
Locations: Various schools in St Helens & Newton-le-Willows
Start Date: Immediate and upcoming starts available
Contract Type: Full-time & part-time roles | Temporary & permanent opportunities
Key Responsibilities:
- Support pupils in accessing the curriculum and achieving their potential
- Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons
- Provide one-to-one and small group support
- Help manage classroom behaviour and promote a positive learning environment
- Contribute to the planning and assessment of learning activities
What you'll need to succeed
- Level 2 (or above) Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
- Experience working with children
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and caring
- A proactive and flexible approach to supporting learning
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
- Full right to work in the UK
