We are excited to be recruiting for a full time qualified Counsellor to work in our supportive team here at The Mount. You will join our Talking Therapies team offering one to one, telephone and online therapy. We are open to flexible and hybrid working requests.
The successful candidate will be joining a fantastic team of PWPs, Counsellors and CBT therapists who work collaboratively to deliver the best service and outcomes for clients. Health and wellbeing of staff along with investing in our team is important to us. You will receive regular supervision and will also have the opportunity to attend suitable training events to support your professional development.
In additional to core training as a counsellor, you must have an HEE Talking Therapies approved training qualification such as PCE-CfD, CCfD. For those qualified Counsellors who have not yet gained BACP Accreditation, we will support completion of this within your first 12 months in post.
The post holder will work with people with different cultural backgrounds and ages, using interpreters when necessary and should be committed to equal opportunities.

Specialist provision comprises inpatient child and adolescent mental health services, perinatal mental health and forensic services including low and medium secure care.
