Looking for Production Operatives, Monday - Friday (Fixed Hours)
Immediate start based in Melton Mowbray
A La Carte (Staffline) is looking to hire production operatives for our very well-known reputed client's site based in Melton Mowbray LE13 which produces varied range of excellent quality handmade pork pies. The work you would be doing is varied and interesting.
Shifts: AM Shift available starting at 8am till 4pm plus occasional overtime.
Payrates: AM Shift £12.35 (Monday - Friday)
Your Time at Work
Production operative Role
We are looking for applicants with excellent capability of working at a quicker pace with good communication skills. It's important to show good work ethics and able to follow instructions and progress in work.
Producing handmade Pork Pies by assembling meat balls and placing them into the pastry. You will place the racks into ovens and removing racks from the ovens thereafter as well as moving the racks on trolleys from one area to another. This role does include manual handling in an ambient/warm temperature environment
Mixing the ingredients to form the gelatinous mixture that surround the inside of the pork pies. This work does involve manual handling.
Packaging of the final products such as Pork Pies. This work will include manual handling in a cold environment.
As a Production Operative you would need to be comfortable working with meat (Pork) products which may be raw and/or cooked, and you would have to handle these products with or without gloves depending on the circumstances and departments. Full training will be provided, no previous experience required.

Key Information and Benefits
Giving great opportunity to earn between £463.12 up to £578.90 per week with fixed hours of 37.5 plus occasional overtime. Work available up to Christmas and ongoing into the new year
Overtime is calculated after 37.5hrs
