Housekeeping Team Leader Overview: Our housekeeping team is of utmost importance to us, as they help maintain a clean and tidy environment for our residents. As the Housekeeping Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading and guiding our team to ensure our residents have a lovely and safe place to call home.

Your friendly attitude and natural warmth will be put to great use as you interact with residents and relatives on a daily basis. You will lead by example and support the team with all the housekeeping duties in the home. This will include planning rotas, allocating duties to team members, conducting routine checks, completing required documentation, planning and overseeing cleaning routines, and scheduling deep cleaning to minimize the risk of infection outbreaks.

As the Infection Prevention Control Link, you will attend associated training and ensure that the team adheres to COSHH and Health and Safety Compliance. You will also conduct one-to-one reviews, annual appraisals, and identify necessary training for team members. Additionally, you will manage the stock of resources and equipment, ensure that maintenance routines are adhered to, and oversee the laundry service schedule to ensure that our residents receive the best service and standards.

About the Home: Part of a large charitable organisation, Prince Philip Duke of Edinburgh Court provides residential care, nursing and residential dementia support for up to 45 residents with permanent care or short-stay respite breaks.
