The roleThis is a teaching role - but with purpose. As a Vocational Tutor, you'll help young people gain confidence, build skills, and achieve qualifications that open doors to work and further study. Whether your expertise is in business admin, creative industries, IT & ICT, or customer care, your lessons will be the stepping stones to brighter futures.
You'll:
- Plan and deliver inclusive, engaging vocational lessons.
- Teach accredited qualifications in your specialist subject area.
- Support learners to progress confidently into work or further study.
- Build trust and motivation through strong relationships.
- Keep teaching records, registers and files compliant and audit-ready.
- Collaborate with delivery and quality teams to meet targets.
The personLet me ask you:
- Do you hold a Level 3 qualification in your vocational subject area?
- Do you have (or are you willing to start within 2 years) a PGCE, CIT or recognised teaching qualification?
- Do you have experience teaching or facilitating learning in education, community or workplace settings?
- Can you plan, assess and adapt lessons for diverse needs?
- Are you passionate about inclusion and learner progression?
