Blackheath Brain Injury Rehabilitation Centre is a specialist neurological rehabilitation service committed to helping adults achieve the best possible outcomes following acquired or traumatic brain injury. Our multidisciplinary team works collaboratively to provide tailored, evidence-based care in a supportive and person-centred environment.

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Clinical Psychologist to join our team. In this role, you will provide expert psychological assessment, formulation, and intervention for adults with neurological conditions, working closely with colleagues across therapies, medical, and care teams to develop and implement holistic rehabilitation plans. This position offers flexibility, with 3037.5 hours per week, and a negotiable salary to reflect experience and skills. We are also happy to support QiCN enrolment.

The role:

  • Plan and prioritise a complex clinical caseload to ensure timely and effective delivery of neuropsychological services.
  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments of patients and provide expert formulation.
  • Act as a Key Worker, coordinating and managing individual therapeutic programmes to achieve agreed rehabilitation goals.
  • Support the MDT in diagnosis, problem formulation, and the planning of personalised rehabilitation programmes.
  • Deliver neuropsychological interventions as part of a collaborative MDT approach and contribute to service development initiatives.
  • Maintain clear, timely, and professional communication with patients, families, the MDT, and external agencies.
  • Develop and deliver in-service education and training for the wider MDT to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
  • Supervise junior staff, assistants, and students
  • Ensure all clinical practice, documentation, and records comply with BPS and HCPC standards.
  • Promote safety, uphold human rights, and protect patients from harm in all aspects of care.

About you:


We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic professional who:

  • Is HCPC registered with a specialist interest or experience in neuropsychology.
  • Has experience of working with adults with acquired brain injury.
  • Possesses strong communication and team-working skills.
  • Shows commitment to evidence-based practice and ongoing professional development.
  • Successful candidates will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS
