What skills and experience we're looking for
The Governors of St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School wish to appoint an engaging and enthusiastic Level 3 Teaching Assistant to work on a one-to-one basis with a Key Stage 1 child with autism.
St Joseph’s is a friendly and welcoming school where we are passionate about providing the best possible education for our children. The Headteacher and Governors are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, suitably qualified, and experienced person to join our caring team.
We are looking for someone who:
• Will show full support for the Catholic ethos and be prepared to develop a secure understanding of the nature of our Catholic school.
• Views their supporting role in school as a vocation.
• Has experience of supporting children with additional needs in Primary or Early Years settings.
• Can build strong, positive relationships with children, staff, and families.
• Has the skills, energy, and passion to support excellent outcomes for our children.
• Is creative and nurturing, with high expectations for children’s learning, behaviour, and personal development.
