Laser Operative (Afternoon Shift)
Location: Newark
Hours: Monday to Thursday, 4:00 pm– 1:45 am
Pay Rate: £16.00 per hour

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Laser Operative to join our clients dynamic manufacturing team. Working on a fixed afternoon shift, This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working with high-tech machinery, and is looking to take the next step in their manufacturing career.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor CNC laser cutting machines to ensure high-quality output.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and work instructions.
• Carry out routine machine maintenance and safety checks.
• Inspect finished parts for accuracy, tolerances, and defects.
• Work efficiently to meet production targets and deadlines.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
• Record production data and communicate any issues to the team leader or supervisor.

What We're Looking For:

• Proven experience operating laser cutting machines
• Strong understanding of engineering drawings and tolerances.
• Attention to detail with a commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexible, reliable, and punctual.
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
