Join an exciting new venture dedicated to serving fresh, homemade meals to warehouse shift workers in a modern, purpose-built facility. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of meals to a high standard, while ensuring food safety and hygiene procedures are strictly followed. You will supervise General Assistants during evening service, complete compliance paperwork, and manage the kitchen's closing procedures, including cashing up and securely locking the premises. In addition to cooking, you'll support with cleaning, serving, and other general kitchen duties as needed. Full in-house training will be provided to help you succeed in your role.
We're looking for someone with previous cooking experience in a professional kitchen, strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices, and confidence in supervising a small team. You should be organised, reliable, and ready to lead by example, with the ability to work independently during evening shifts.
