**HGV Class 1 Driving Role-Newton Abbot **
We are currently recruiting for **Temporary drivers** for our depot in Newton Abbot. The role consists of store delivery work, delivering to local convenient stores involving 2-3 delivery points on each load where unloading into warehouse is required. No manual handling involved.
**Shift Patterns Available:**
* AM Starts 0400-0600, 7 days a week. Predominentely Monday, Friday and Saturdays being the busiest days.
* Would suit a driver looking for 2-4 shifts a week.
**Day pay rates: **
* Monday Friday £15.00
* Weekends £17.00
45-minute break deducted per shift and minimum of 8 hours per shift worked.
Immediate starts after successful completion of assessment and Induction day.
**What we are looking for:**
* In date DIGI and CPC card
* Enthusiastic, reliable, helpful and organised individual.
* Willing to work weekends.
* Motivated and open to learn new skills.
* Demonstrates an excellent attitude to work.
**Your role:**
* Driving within the WTD and EU regs and rules.
* Prepping vehicles for delivery.
* Completing vehicles checks.
* Refuelling vehicles.
* The Driver must ensure that the highest levels of customer service are maintained on the round and orders are fulfilled on time and in full.
