Crynodeb
Help to unpack stock, store stock in appropriate store cupboard working closely with the stock personnel. Assist with personal patient care, for example, feeding, assisting with mobility needs. Support less experienced members of staff in their orientation to the ward and role. Support the team in expected and unexpected clinical events requiring high but unpredictable levels of physical effort according to patient dependency/clinical need. Support clinical teams during medical emergencies such as cardiac arrests. Support staff and patients exposed to difficult situations arising in the clinical area e.g. after receipt of bad news or following an unexpected event, for example, a delay in treatment time Maintain a clean, safe environment ensuring adherence to Trust standards of cleanliness, hygiene and infection control at all times. Promote and monitor adherence to Health and Safety and Trust policy designed to protect healthcare staff and service users from known hazards.
