Overview
We are small fabrication company based in Kirk Sandall, Doncaster seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our small dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in welding and fabrication, demonstrating proficiency in various welding techniques and the use of hand and power tools. . This role is essential for the production of high-quality metal components and small assemblies, ensuring that all work meets industry standards and specifications.
The applicant must be able to weld TIG & MIG aluminium and steel is essential.
Stainless steel would also be an advantage.
Our hours are Monday to Thursday 7.15 - 15.45 and Fridays 7.30- 13.30 Rate of pay is £15.26 P/H plus company pension scheme.
Duties
Perform TIG & MIG welding and other welding techniques to fabricate metal components.
Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively for cutting, shaping, and assembling materials.
Interpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure accurate fabrication.
Conduct fabrication tasks involving sheet metal, ensuring precision and quality in all outputs.
Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and meet deadlines.
Carry out routine maintenance on equipment and report any issues promptly.
Experience
Proven experience in welding, particularly with TIG & Mig welding techniques.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot fabrication issues.
Basic mathematical skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks.
Experience with assembly processes in a manufacturing environment is advantageous.
