Owen Payne Recruitment are thrilled to announce our new partnership with Hill & Smith Infrastructure. We are currently seeking skilled Aluminium MIG Welders to join their growing team in the Bilston area.
If you're experienced in Aluminium MIG Welding and are looking for a new challenge, this could be the perfect opportunity for you! These roles will be 12 week temp to perm for the right candidate
You will be responsible for Assembling and Welding mechanical parts, pieces or products using a variety of tools and equipment according to required specifications in a manufacturing organisation.
Hours of Work:
• Friday 07:00-13:00
Rate of Pay:
Key Responsibilities:
• Operating an overhead crane to lift, move, and position materials as needed
• Reading and interpret drawings to determine project requirements
• Inspecting finished products for quality and ensuring they meet specifications
• Maintaining and performing routine checks on welding and fabricating equipment
• Adhering to safety protocols and maintaining a clean and organised work area
• Any additional duties as and when required
Candidate Requirements:
• Must be able to read drawings
• Experience with operating overhead cranes preferred
• Strong attention to detail and quality control
• Knowledge of safety standards and practices in a fabrication environment
