Job Title: Mechanical Fitter
Salary: Negotiable, dependant on skills and experience.
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent, 6-month probation period

We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Mechanical Fitter to join our team. You’ll be responsible for the assembly, installation, maintenance, and build of mechanical equipment and systems across a variety of projects.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assembly and fitting of mechanical components and systems from engineering drawings
• Routine maintenance and fault-finding
• Installation and testing of mechanical systems in a factory/workshop or on-site setting
• Working from detailed technical drawings, schematics, and manuals
Key Requirements:
• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering/Fitting
• Proven experience in a mechanical fitting role (Manufacturing environment)
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical manuals
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
• Full UK driving licence (for site-based work)
• Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic system
• A keen attention to detail.
• A diligent work ethic and a commitment to maintaining high standards.
Desirables:
• Torch brazing
• Instrument fitting
• Manual machining

This permanent role will have core hours of Monday – Thursday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
