A leading manufacturer of high quality plastic injection moulded parts and assemblies is now looking for a Lead Plastic Injection Mould Toolmaker to join their Oxfordshire facility.
The successful applicant will be Apprentice trained or a qualified plastic injection mould tool toolmaker.
Reporting to the Toolroom Manager, you will be responsible for the manufacture of new injection mould tools from technical drawings and 3D cad data to a high level of workmanship in an efficient and cost effective manner.
You will also maintain and modify existing tooling.
With previous experience of CNC machining and CAD/CAM software, you will produce fully hardened steel production tools.
This role is offered on a permanent, full time, day shift, with excellent benefits, including early finish on Fridays, occasional overtime, 25 days holiday + BH, pension scheme, and free parking.
Qualifications and Experience:
We are looking for an Apprentice served Toolmaker, with 5 or more years’ experience in plastic injection moulding; or a a qualified plastic injection mould tool toolmaker.
It is essential you have proven experience in CNC and CAD/CAM, working with steel / hardened steel.
Also required is experience with Hot runner systems / Valve gates and manifolds

Candidates MUST be eligible to work and live in the UK, without requiring sponsorship. Copies of Passports and Visas will be requested for verification.
