Operational Use data bases as required for performance management. Participate in data collection and oversight for audit/performance monitoring purposes. Provide statistical information if required. Ensuring consistent safe and timely service delivery including processing and allocation of referrals, access to assessment and day-to-day coordination and management of activity. Managing workloads of clinical staff within the service and planning of additional groups, activities run by staff withing the service for patients and families. Ensure timely allocation of referrals for assessment, care coordination and treatment. Deputise for Team Manager at Trust meetings and represent Trust on multi-agency forums. Ensure standards of record keeping, reviewing, care planning is met across the service. Where necessary, manage performance and quality in relation to the work of the team in the form of audit. Lead for the team in Trust change processes. Engage with and work alongside NHSE Engage with local and national audit. Operational and Clinical management of the service including the coordination and completion of staff appraisals, line management, sickness absence, performance, capability, and disciplinary management of staff. Recruitment, selection, and coordination of induction of new staff. Management of Physical and Financial Resources -liaising with management and acting as authorising signatory of day-to-day spending including mileage for the team. Communication and Liaison Act as a role model for all Trust staff, representing the Early Intervention Service and the Trust in various settings and forums. Facilitate open communication amongst staff within the Team as well as with other Teams and Services with the aim of promoting multi-disciplinary approaches to care, and integrated team working. Liaise closely with peers in other teams to facilitate seamless care between teams for service users and families, developing strong and supportive working relationships for the benefit of all. Lead investigations of serious incidents and complaints for the Trust. Decision making around safety of service users and staff. Demonstrate a high degree of self-awareness and good time management. Sharing/delegation of tasks and responsibilities where appropriate. Utilise all available resources efficiently and effectively. Plan work of the others in the team to ensure appropriate cover and performance targets are met. Education and Development Ensuring there is a good quality learning environment for the team. Act as a mentor/assessor for learners as well as planning and delivering internal training and development where appropriate. Maintaining and keeping up with developments in mental health including research and evidence-based practice. Keep up to date with professional issues and developments in mental health, maintaining practice development both research and evidence based.
