Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse by managing inventory, handling materials, packing and maintaining an organised work environment.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
- Handle materials with care, ensuring proper lifting techniques are used.
- Perform stocking duties, ensuring shelves are replenished accurately and promptly.
- Engage in picking and packing orders for shipping, ensuring accuracy in fulfilment.
- Assist with shipping and receiving tasks, including loading and unloading goods from vans/lorries.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the warehouse to promote safety and efficiency.
- Conduct regular inventory checks to ensure stock accuracy and report discrepancies as needed.
Experience
Previous warehouse experience is desirable
Familiarity with Microsoft Excel is advantageous.
