Crynodeb
To support the Childcare Development Managers in ensuring that our childcare services provide and safe and stimulating opportunities for play, whilst working in line with the standards set out by CIW (Care Inspectorate Wales) and Playworks preset Policies and Procedures.
• Support the Club Manager in the day running of the club and implementing
ways to ensure the smooth running.
• Support the Club Manager by liaising with parents to plan for the individual
needs and preferences of the children attending.
• Support the Club Manager to plan and deliver opportunities for play and
learning which encourage children to develop emotionally, physically, socially,
creatively, and intellectually whilst aiding their language skills.
• Monitor and manage Health and Safety risks.
• Monitor and support teams of staff to ensure that the highest standards of
care are maintained.
• Support the Club Manager to ensure the setting is complaint with CIW
National Minimum Standards and childminding and Daycare Regulations
Wales.
The successful applicant must hold a level 3 qualification in Childcare, Learning, Play and Development / Playwork or equivalent and have experience in a similar role.
It is desirable that they also hold Group B or C Safeguarding, Level 3 Paediatric First Aid and Level 2 Food Safety.
An Enhanced DBS check is required for this role, the cost of the check is to be met by the employee.
As this role involves traveling between our services, it is essential the successful applicant holds a full clean drivers license and ha access to a vehicle. Mileage will be paid for all travel associated to this role.
