Administration & Accounts Support Assistant (Temp to Perm)

£12.21 per hour
Monday – Friday, 9.00am – 5.00pm (30 mins lunch break)
About the Role
We’re recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-established business in Rochdale for an Administration & Accounts Support Assistant on a temporary to permanent basis. This role is ideal for someone highly organised, detail-oriented and keen to build a career within accounts and administration. The client are offering training for the right candidate but some previous administration experience would be desirable.
You’ll be supporting both the Accounts and Sales Administration teams, ensuring all paperwork is processed accurately and on time, while also gaining exposure to purchase ledger, sales ledger and bank reconciliation work.
Key Responsibilities
Processing customer orders and related administration.
Assisting with purchase ledger, sales ledger and bank reconciliation tasks.
Supporting the Accountant with month-end processes.
Liaising with colleagues across departments to ensure a smooth service.
Acting as a point of contact for internal and external queries.
About You
Previous administration experience is desirable but training will be provided.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling paperwork.
Excellent communication skills and ability to liaise confidently with customers and colleagues.
Able to work independently as well as part of a team.
Full UK driving licence and access to a car (occasional travel to a nearby site may be required).
