The Role
As Assistant Sales Manager, you will work alongside the Sales Manager to drive sales performance and lead a team of vehicle sales executives. You'll bring your dealership management experience to ensure the smooth running of the department while maintaining exceptional customer standards.
Key responsibilities include:
*Supporting the Sales Manager in overseeing day-to-day sales operations
*Leading, motivating and developing a team of sales executives
*Driving sales across vehicles, finance and insurance products
*Ensuring compliance with dealership and manufacturer standards
*Handling escalated customer queries and ensuring high CSI results
*Managing showroom presentation and finance proposal processes
Candidate Profile
To be considered for this role, you must have:
*Proven experience in a main dealership at a managerial or supervisory level (e.g., Business Manager, Transaction Manager, Sales Controller, or Assistant Sales Manager)
*Strong leadership and team management skills
*Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
*A professional, customer-focused approach with the ability to resolve issues effectively
*Drive, resilience and a track record of achieving sales targets

*Basic salary: £32,500
*OTE in excess of £70,000 (uncapped)
