Great opportunity to work as a Warehouse Operative for our client - A leading supplier of health and safety equipment.
Staffline is recruiting Warehouse Operatives in Glasgow.
The rate of pay is £25,419 per annum.
This is a full-time role working Monday to Friday and the hours of work are:
- 8am to 4pm
Your Time at Work
As a Warehouse Operative your key responsibilities include:
- Discharging duties in a safe manner in accordance with relevant legislation and EHS policies.
- Using all equipment provided in accordance with safe working practices.
- Ensuring the warehouse and yard are kept clean and tidy at all times, that spillages are promptly cleared and waste is minimised.
- Receiving goods and check into the warehouse accurately.
- Placing goods correctly into storage bays. Ensure that stock is stored to allow safe storage, lifting and lowering
- Assisting in loading vehicles, working with the driver to ensure compliance with all legal requirements on vehicle loading.
- Working with other team members to ensure embroidery/heatseal work is allocated to the correct machines in order to maximise production output on a daily basis
- Ensuring the embroidery/heatseal machines are observed at all times to make the necessary adjustments to the machines in order to maximise production output and minimise damages or below standard heatseal/embroidery
- Locating the correct designs/transfers matching the approval and placement information specified by the customer and ensuring the design is suitable for the garments that are to be embroidered/heat-sealed before work commences
- Ensuring that before a job is started, the information on the delivery note matches the customer's approval and that the correct design/transfer in the correct position is embroidered/heat-sealed onto the correct garment
- Checking all garments against the customer orders to ensure you have the correct size, colour and quantity and that the garment is of the correct quality and without defect before starting production
Our Perfect Worker
Our perfect worker will have the ability to lift and transport goods around the warehouse. You will have the ability and willingness to follow the instructions of management and respond to requests from others in the team in a helpful manner.

Experience in a similar role is desirable, but not essential as full training is provided.
