Compulsory Requirements:

-FULL UK Drivers license (held for more than 1 year)

-FULL 5 Years UK Employment history (no gaps)

-Confidence in managing 3 other supervisors across 4 of our contracts based at Heathrow - Position would be better suited for a duty manager

-Ability to read and write English fluently, and communicate to a high standard

-Confidence in driving an EV Van

Job Specification - Senior Supervisor (Nights), Cleaning Operations

A vacancy has arisen for a Senior Supervisor - Cleaning to join the night team at Heathrow Airport, working 12-hour shifts on a 4-on / 4-off rota. This is a key leadership position, acting as the shift-in-command, responsible for overseeing a team of 3 Supervisors and managing a workforce of 45 operatives across 4 active cleaning contracts within the airport. The successful candidate will need to demonstrate strong time management, the ability to prioritise tasks, and remain calm and effective under pressure in a fast-paced, operationally critical environment. Regularly checking and responding to emails is essential to ensure accurate shift planning, manage contingency requirements, and maintain effective communication with management and stakeholders.

You will be responsible for the delivery of routine planned and periodic cleaning. You will ensure that the cleaning staff understand and work to task schedules while following the correct Health & Safety procedures by providing technical training as and when required. You will distribute uniforms, monitor standard of cleanliness and the use of materials and order stocks as necessary. You will deal with any issues efficiently and in a professional manner, referring to line manager where appropriate.

The ideal candidate will have previous supervisory and cleaning experience. They will have good communication skills, be reliable and hardworking with a professional attitude and they will be able to work to a schedule on their own initiative.
