Tanvic Group Ltd:
We are seeking a self-employed General Maintenance professional to join our team at Tanvic Group in the UK. Due to growth, the Company requires a second in-house Builder/all-round maintenance person to assist with routine property maintenance and refurbishments across its 20 East Midlands freehold trading depots and growing portfolio of residential rental properties.
Applicants should be multi skilled to a reasonable level, reliable, flexible and enthusiastic.
Responsibilities:
Refurbishment work - basic bricklaying, carpentry, plumbing, patch plastering, tiling, minor electrics, painting and decorating
External property maintenance work - fencing repairs, gutters, drains, weed control etc as required
Good experience of the above with ability to diagnose maintenance issues
Good knowledge of tools, equipment and safety regulations
Good communication skills, able to liaise with company staff and tenants.
Basic computer literacy
Honest & Trustworthy
Able to work on own initiative, manage time and meet targets
A flexible approach to deal with changing priorities
Pay: Commensurate with experience (self-employed basis)
Full clean UK driving licence
40 hour working week, Mon - Fri.
A fuelled van and tools as necessary will be provided.
