Overview
Our client is seeking a confident, forward-thinking Veterinary Surgeon to join a friendly and experienced six-vet team in a dynamic role with genuine scope to make an impact. The successful candidate will be accountable for patient care within the clinic, ensuring exceptional standards for clients, patients and colleagues while maintaining the highest levels of regulatory and operational compliance.
The Role
This is a full-time opportunity ideal for a vet with at least three years of UK small animal practice experience who enjoys a true mix of consulting and surgery. The role offers:

The Practice
The clinic combines a traditional, characterful building with modern equipment including laparoscopy, endoscopy, TTA kit, patella luxation equipment, quality ultrasound, digital and dental X-ray, capnography and ventilators. It’s a practice with strong foundations and exciting potential—perfect for someone eager to help lead it into a new era.
Location: Award-winning suburban practice with easy access to Manchester, Liverpool, the Lake District and beautiful local countryside.
Schedule & Flexibility
• 4-day working week
• No OOH
• Fair share of weekends (1:3 Saturdays or 1:6 full weekends)
• Flexible working arrangements considered to support a strong work–life balance
