Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and committed Employer Engagement Officer to join their employment and skills service. This role is focused on helping unemployed individuals move into sustainable work by providing job outcome–focused support tailored to their needs.
The successful candidate must have proven experience of delivering account-managed services with employers across multiple industry sectors. A successful track record of securing employment, placement, and apprenticeship opportunities and experience of organising recruitment events and producing marketing materials.
Key responsibilities include:
Building and maintaining strong relationships with employers across a variety of sectors.
Securing job vacancies, paid and unpaid work placements, and apprenticeship opportunities.
Supporting residents into work through job brokerage, training, job search support, coaching, and advisory sessions.
Coordinating and setting up recruitment events, open days, and other employer-led activities.
Designing and developing marketing materials to promote opportunities and initiatives.
We are looking for someone with:
Proven experience of delivering account-managed services with employers across multiple industry sectors.
A successful track record of securing employment, placement, and apprenticeship opportunities.
Experience of organising recruitment events and producing marketing materials.
Strong experience of supporting individuals into employment through a range of tailored interventions.
A customer-centred approach and genuine commitment to supporting people into work.
