What skills and experience we're looking for
We are looking for a Speech & Language Therapist interested in progressing their career in working within a specialist setting. This is a fantastic opportunity to join our team of dedicated professionals who are committed to providing the very best life chances for our students.
This role includes:
• Plan and deliver speech and language therapy sessions for your caseload.
• Work collaboratively with other therapists, teachers, learning support assistants and care staff
• Monitor and report on pupils’ progress
• Provide recommendations and guidance to parents/ carers, colleagues in school and other professionals
• Maintain case records in line with school policy and RCSLT guidelines
• Keep up to date with relevant clinical research
• Participate as required in the supervision and training of SaLT students
• Participate fully in whole school training sessions and meetings
• Attend and contribute annual reviews as directed
• Play a full part in the life of the school community, supporting the ethos, rules and regulations
The salary quoted is based on agenda for change band 6; this role would be suitable for candidates with knowledge and experience in line with agenda for change band 6. We would also consider applications from individuals looking for a band 5/6 development post.
