What skills and experience we're looking for
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, inspiring and committed ECT (Early Career Teacher) who is passionate about developing children’s learning for a maternity cover position.
The Oaklands core values are Show Respect and Care to all; Take Pride and Love Learning. Loving Learning is at the heart of everything we do and we use our learning heroes to teach and develop “exemplary” learning behaviours. The first year of ECT support and mentorship would be available for a quick starter.
Oaklands is a caring and inclusive school that is ambitious for its pupils, staff and parents.The successful candidate will work alongside the class teacher until they leave for maternity, allowing for a smooth transition and valuable team teaching experience before taking full responsibility for the class.

We work with the Ealing Learning Partnership schools to provide opportunities and training for all. Our teachers are talented and committed to making Oaklands the best school it can be. • A teacher who is passionate about delivering an exciting curriculum
• Analytical of children’s learning so that assessments inform planning and maximise every pupils’ progress
• Eager to inspire your support team to deliver this practice too
• Have strong verbal and written communication skills
• A team player
