Overview
Portesbery School is a very special school for pupils between the ages of 3-19. We have a vacancy for a Family Support Worker to join our team at our impressive, purpose-built school in Deepcut. This is an exciting opportunity to join our progressive and successful school for Children and Young Adults with a range of Special Educational Needs, from Severe, Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties to Autistic Spectrum Disorders. Some students have complex medical conditions and/or physical disabilities.Personal attributes
We are looking for a caring and proactive Family Support Worker to join our school. In this role, you will work closely with pupils, parents, and carers to provide tailored support that promotes the well-being and development of children with a range of additional needs. You will help families navigate available services, offer emotional and practical support, and strengthen home-school communication to ensure the best outcomes for each child.We are a supportive, happy, caring and hardworking school who put children at the heart of all we do. You will be joining an experienced, dedicated and well-trained team and would receive a full induction and support programme, as well as benefiting from a wide range of CPD and career progression opportunities.

Salary is based on Surrey Pay PS6 (£30,647 - £32,867 Full Time Equivalent)
Actual/pro-rata salary is £23,802 - £25,526 (32.5 hours per week, 39 weeks per year)
