About the Role
We are seeking to appoint a motivated School Administrator who thrives in a busy office environment, to join our dedicated and forward-thinking team at Kestrel Mead, part of The Mead Educational Trust (TMET).
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a culture of excellence, ambition, and inclusion. The successful candidate will have a commitment to securing the best outcomes for all learners and play an active role in shaping a safe and positive school environment.
Kestrel Mead is a vibrant, forward-looking school. The role of Admin assistant is integral in being the ‘first face’ for our parents, professional visitors and pupils. A school office is a busy and ever-changing environment – you can be completing a computer admin task, answering a call from a parent about administering medication, checking the safeguarding information from a contractor coming to fix a pipe and gathering the lunch numbers together all at the same time!
We are a well-established team and believe that the most successful candidate will be one with transferable skills, a willingness to be calm and flexible and a desire to grow and learn. You will be supported in your induction by colleagues and the Business Operations Manager in acquiring all of the knowledge and training you require to be highly successful. This role is very well suited to parents and carers who can appreciate the school holidays with their children.

• A strong dedication to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
• A flexible, empathetic, and professional approach to work and relationships.
• Proven ability to work effectively and cooperatively within a team environment.
• An individual who lives our school’s core values of compassion, resilience, respect, and curiosity.
• Someone who contributes to creating a warm, welcoming, and professional first impression of the school.
• Previous administration experience and confidence in using computers and digital tools.
