Crynodeb
We are looking for a people person with previous experience of people management/supervision or an experienced Cleaning Supervisor to work with a core Central Government Mitie client to assist in managing a remote site based cleaning team, including (but not limited to) the management and development of staff, monitoring service delivery to ensure excellent standards for the delivery of routine planned and periodic cleaning and assisting the Regional team in various management functions.
You will be responsible for the delivery of routine planned and periodic cleaning. You will ensure that the cleaning staff understand and work to task schedules while following the correct Health & Safety procedures by providing technical training as and when required. You will distribute uniforms, deliver Toolbox Talks, carry out occasional audits, mentor new starters, monitor standard of cleanliness and the use of materials, order stocks and any other tasks as required. You will deal with any issues efficiently and in a professional manner, referring to line manager where appropriate. The position is subject to Government security clearance, including the requirement to have lived in the UK for a minimum of the last 5 calendar years
The ideal candidate will have previous supervisory experience and preferably combined with previous cleaning experience. They will have good communication and IT skills, be reliable and hardworking with a professional attitude and they will be able to work to a schedule on their own initiative. The role is field based, and the successful applicant will be expected to travel in order to correctly manage the team who are based in multiple remote locations
