Please see the attached Job Description and Person Specification To assist the sister/charge nurse in leading the nursing team in the provision of high quality, research based, nursing care that is patient focussed. To act as a role model to less experienced nurses, ensuring appropriate care of the perioperative patient is planned, implemented and evaluated. To support the sister/charge nurse in the management and facilitation of the development of staff creating an effective team. To foster a multidisciplinary approach to patient care in line with Clinical Governance. Your proven leadership and organisational skills along with your ability to prioritise and remain calm under pressure in a busy team environment will ensure you are able to demonstrate your excellent communication skills and drive to succeed.
