You'll develop your technical and commercial skills while working on large-scale, high-impact projects.
What you can expect:
-Mentoring & support: A dedicated programme mentor and professional mentor to guide you.
-Structured development: Monthly cohort sessions to enhance your technical, commercial, and leadership skills.

As a Graduate Commercial Quantity Surveyor at Mitie Projects, you'll play a central role in ensuring the commercial success of our projects. From the initial planning stages through to project handover, you'll gain hands-on experience in every part of the commercial lifecycle.
You will work closely with project managers, engineers, and delivery teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest standards. This role combines technical knowledge, financial analysis, and stakeholder management, giving you the skills to build a rewarding long-term career.
Your responsibilities will include:
-Supporting cost planning and tendering, including budgets, estimates, and bid submissions.
-Managing budgets and financial tracking across live projects.
-Handling variations and applications for payment to protect profitability.
-Conducting cost value reconciliations and preparing financial reports.
-Assisting with contract administration and compliance.
-Supporting subcontractor management, from enquiries to final accounts.
-Building client relationships and supporting negotiations.
-Analysing project performance and contributing to lessons learned.
-Collaborating with project teams to align delivery and commercial outcomes.

-Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the confidence to engage with a range of stakeholders.
-Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.
-Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
-A proactive, collaborative approach with a willingness to take ownership of tasks.
-Right to work in the UK
