Finance Assistant (Part-Time) – Leicester
Are you a detail-driven finance professional who thrives in a hands-on role?
We’re working with a not-for-profit organisation in Leicester that’s on the lookout for a Finance Assistant to join their small but dedicated team.
This is a part-time opportunity (20–21 hours per week) where you’ll take ownership of day-to-day finance operations and play a key role in producing accurate monthly management accounts. What you’ll be doingYou’ll be the go-to person for all things finance, working closely with the Head of Finance & Operations. Expect to get involved with:

Managing the day-to-day financial admin: payments, receipts, reconciliations, and banking.

Processing invoices, expenses, and payments through Sage 50c.

Keeping financial spreadsheets and databases up to date.

Producing reports, assisting with monthly management accounts, and supporting year-end prep.

Collaborating with colleagues across the organisation to keep everything running smoothly.
What we’re looking forWe’d love to hear from you if you can tick most of the following boxes:

AAT Level 3 qualified and confident using Sage 50c.

Solid experience in a finance support role, ideally within an SME, charity, or not-for-profit organisation.

Comfortable juggling multiple priorities without losing attention to detail.

A confident Excel user with good all-round Microsoft Office skills.

Knowledge of partial exemption VAT, CRM or payment Stripe would be a bonus — but not essential.

A strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
