Crynodeb
a. Provide clinical support to registered nurses and other healthcare professionals within the organisation b. Assist with the calling/recalling of patients for care management and appointments c. Support the practice nurse team with the management of Chronic Disease clinics d. Carry out baseline observations such as pulse oximetry, blood pressure, temperature, pulse rate, weight and BMI e. Review triage submissions and make nurse / HCA appointments as needed f. Review communications in SystmOne and book appropriate nursing appointments as needed g. Ensure specimens are recorded and ready for onward transportation h. Facilitate routine and 24-hour BP monitoring, advising patients accordingly i. Undertake Year of Care annual reviews - diabetes screening to include foot checks j. Provide support during minor operations as required k. Ensure clinical waste is removed from clinical areas and sharps bins replaced in accordance with the organisations IPC Policy l. Act as a chaperone as required m. Undertake venepuncture n. Administer flu vaccinations o. Carry out ECGs as requested p. Carry out Shingles, Pneumococcal and B12 injections q. Carry out NHS Health Checks r. Carry out learning disability health checks s. Attend weekly educational meetings t. Flexibility to cover holidays and sickness Deliver opportunistic health promotion where appropriate
