Overview
We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join our team at a prestigious banking head office restaurant in Edinburgh. This is a customer-facing role where you will support the catering team in delivering excellent food service standards to staff and visitors within a professional corporate environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with the preparation, presentation, and serving of food and beverages.
Provide a friendly and efficient counter service to staff and guests.
Ensure all dining and kitchen areas are kept clean, tidy, and well-stocked throughout service.
Support kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks when required.
Operate tills, handle cash/card payments, and follow company procedures for transactions.
Adhere to food safety, hygiene, and health & safety regulations at all times.
Assist with stock rotation, deliveries, and storage of goods.
Work as part of a team to deliver a high-quality catering service in line with client expectations.
Applicants must have:
DBS/PVG certificate
Food Safety Level 2
Allergens Certificate
