About the Role:

We are actively recruiting for a Mobile Electrical Engineer to work on an exciting and diverse contract focused on maintaining critical national infrastructure and remote communication stations. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where no two days are the same.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Mobile Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for a broad range of tasks, including but not limited to:



-Low Voltage (LV) Distribution: Maintenance and oversight of LVdistribution systems.

-Generator & Fuel System Maintenance: Ensuring power systems andfuel mechanisms are functioning reliably.

-UPS & Batteries: Routine checks and maintenance of UninterruptiblePower Supplies and battery systems.

-Lighting & Emergency Lighting: Upkeep of lighting systems, includingemergency lighting to ensure safety and compliance.

-Heating, Ventilation & Air Conditioning (HVAC): Maintenance of HVACsystems to guarantee efficient operation.

-Fire and Intruder Systems: Regular maintenance and troubleshootingof fire alarms and intruder detection systems.

-Water Hygiene: Ensuring water systems meet hygiene standards andcomply with regulations.

-Lightning Protection: Maintenance and testing of lightning protectionsystems to safeguard infrastructure.

-Building Maintenance & Site Infrastructure: General maintenance ofbuildings and associated infrastructure, including groundskeepingtasks.

-Masts & Towers: Upkeep of masts and towers to ensure they remainoperational and secure.

-Specialist Vehicles: Maintenance of vehicles required for theperformance of specific operational duties.

In addition to these duties, you will supervise contractors performing specific tasks and ensure that all work is completed to the highest standards. You will also interact with clients during service visits, responding to queries, reporting any defects, and providing updates on site activities.

Compliance and Documentation:

All work must comply with the latest industry standards and legislation, including SFG20, client Method Statements (MS), or any applicable Approved Codes of Practice (ACoPs). You will be responsible for completing all necessary documentation, such as inspection reports and records of remedial work, accurately and in a timely manner.

What We're Looking For:

We are seeking highly motivated and experienced individuals with the following qualifications and skills:

-Proven experience working within a Maintenance or Facilities Management environment.Electrical Authorised Person (AP) experience is essential.

-Relevant qualifications, such as an Electrical Level 3 Award, City & Guilds (C&G) 2391, and 18th Edition certification.

-A solid understanding of Health & Safety practices, including Permit toWork procedures and safe working systems.

-The ability to carry out manual tasks, such as manual handling, working at heights, and working in confined spaces.

-A willingness to participate in the On-Call Rota when required.

-A full, clean driving g license is essential for this role as travel between sites is expected
