An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join a long standing, independent veterinary practice in the heart of Cornwall. With over 100 years of history providing exceptional veterinary care, this practice has grown to become a trusted part of the community, delivering expert treatment alongside warm, compassionate service.

The practice has recently expanded, offering a modern, spacious environment that is fully equipped with everything you’d expect from a progressive first opinion practice including digital and dental X-ray, a brand new ultrasound, ECG, endoscopes, in-house lab, two theatres, a dental suite, a dedicated X-ray room, and separate cat and dog wards. You’ll be joining a fantastic small animal team of 9 vets and 13 RVNs, all supported by a friendly and knowledgeable reception team who share a genuine passion for pets and their owners.

This role is ideal for a confident and enthusiastic veterinary surgeon with at least 3–4 years’ experience, though certificate holders will also be warmly welcomed. The practice is looking for an outgoing team player who enjoys working collaboratively within a large, supportive team and who is excited to bring their skills and passion to a varied caseload.

Located in a fantastic part of Cornwall, you’ll be surrounded by beautiful countryside and just 30 minutes from the stunning North Cornwall coastline, with its world-famous beaches and surf spots. With easy access to Exeter, Plymouth, the A30 and M5, you can enjoy the perfect blend of professional satisfaction, lifestyle balance, and a chance to call one of the UK’s most desirable regions home.
